Evaluation of the virucidal activity of the K-Viro film was performed against the COVID-19

(SARS-CoV-2). K-Viro film showed 99% of the COVID-19 virus was inactivated within 1 minute

and more than 99.99% of the COVID-19 virus were killed 10 minutes after treatment.

After treating the COVID-19 virus on the film-coated surface, the virus is recovered after 1, 10, and 30 minutes to infect host cells. After 3 days (72 hours) of infection, Crystal Violet staining was performed to measure the viability of cells caused by viral infection.)


COVID-19 바이러스를 필름 코팅면에 처리한 뒤

1분, 10분, 30분 후 바이러스를 회수하여

숙주세포에 감염 시킴.

감염 3일(72시간) 후 Crystal Violet 염색을 하여

바이러스 감염에 의한 세포의 생존여부를

측정하였다.

(염색된 경우 바이러스가 사멸되어

세포가 살아 있는 것이며,

염색이 안된 경우는 바이러스 감염으로

세포가 죽은 상태.)
